2008 Event Schedule

The Festival of Lights: 
Wednesday, July 30th is our "Captains Meeting". This meeting will take place at the Huron Pointe Yacht Club at 7:00pm. This meeting is required for anyone that is participating in the lighted boat parade or house decorating contest. Huron Pointe Yacht Club is located at 32800 South River Rd, apx. 1 mile East of Jefferson, in Harrison Township, Mi. 48045

Thursday, July 31st is our "Walking Pub Crawl" in Downtown Mt. Clemens. It starts at 6pm at Barleycorns and continues on to several other hotspots in Mt.Clemens. The cost is a $20.00 donation to Boat Town USA. With this you will receive a complimentary Boat Town USA gift, Free hors d'oeuvres and discounted drink prices at each bar. Tickets are available at the door. Tickets are also available in advance at Blue Lagoon Marina for a reduced rate. Please contact Blue Lagoon Marina at 586-463-1020 for more info.

Saturday, August 2nd - "Antique Boat Show" at Metro Beach from noon to 6pm, the boats then leave the docks at 6pm and parade from the finger docks at Metro Beach to Bridgeview on the Clinton River and back again.

9PM - 22nd annual "Parade of Lights" the parade starts at Bridgeview on the Clinton River and ends up at the Finger Docks at Metro Beach . The parade can be viewed anywhere along the banks of the Clinton River or Black Creek in Metro Beach .
